Resort: Grau D’Agde in Languedoc

This quaint Mediterranean fishing harbour is located on the left bank at the mouth of the River Hérault. Still retaining the atmosphere of a typical fishing village, Grau d’Agde was developed by Italian fishermen in the early 20th Century, before becoming popular with holidaymakers. The town centre boasts some attractive architecture, whilst if you simply want to relax on the beach, you will find a number of excellent long stretches of sandy coastline nearby.
