Silver Olives is a hidden gem nestling in beautiful countryside in this unspoilt corner of North West Corfu.The bumpy track leading to the villa may at first appear to be a disadvantage but it ensures peace and privacy as well as adding to the quiet, backwater charm! Silver Olives looks out over some of the prettiest countryside in Corfu to the coast and the outlying islands of Erikussa and Orthoni. This villa enjoys wonderful sunsets with glimpses of the hillside villages, such as Avliotes in the distance. Our greatest fear is that you will not be able to drag yourselves away from this magical spot! The villa itself, a refurbished country manor house, boasts a large pool set into an extensive terrace with built in barbecue. Flowers tumble from flower beds and pots, a charming shady terrace boasts a comfy swing seat and a host of shady corners to sit and simply wonder at the peace of it all!

The house, traditional in style, offers accommodation on two levels, with the entrance level being on the upper floor. A hallway leads to a small, formal sitting area. Double bedroom with en suite shower room enjoying the views. Twin bedroom with small en suite shower and a further double bedroom with adjacent bathroom with patio doors leading to a sea-facing balcony. Stairs lead down to the lower (pool) level. Cosy sitting room with fireplace and large open plan kitchen/dining room. Further bathroom. Doors to terrace, garden and pool area.

Location
Beach – Aghios Stefanos (Avliotes) and Arilas, two resorts with large sandy beaches 10 minutes drive. Shops/Restaurants – 2.5km from the traditional village of Magoulades. Sidari: 10 minutes drive (road a little rough in places). Distance from airport – 45km.
Situated in the north-west corner of Corfu, which has quite a different character from the north east, villa holidays in Magoulades feel like the real and unchanged Corfu. Magoulades is a traditional hillside village offering a bakery with wood fired oven, a small café and a simple grill. Beautiful scenery and peace and quiet can be found here. The nearby beaches are mainly large sweeping sandy bays, with Arillas a real favourite with the locals, where you can try some excellent fish tavernas.
