The villa itself, set on two levels, is immaculately maintained and stylishly equipped to the highest standards. A built-in barbecue, comfortable al fresco dining area and an outdoor sitting area overlook the pool and beach. One of the longest established resorts on Corfu, Dassia is just 12 kilometres from Corfu Town on the North East coast of the island facing the Greek mainland and Albania. A Dassia villa holiday offers a host of facilities, a long stretch of sand and shingle beach with shallow waters ideal for families. Several thriving water sports centres operate on this beach and offer a huge choice of activities including water skiing, parakiting, banana and donut rides, jet skis and more. The water front is lined with restaurants, snack bars and traditional taveranas with a few larger hotels interspersed. Dassia “high street” runs parallel to the water front and offers everything one would expect of a popular resort, café’s, shops, supermarkets, bakeries, a chemist, several medical centres, several ATM machines, bars, a couple of clubs and a good choice of restaurants including Chinese, fast food and traditional Greek. There is also an excellent bus service to Corfu town (running 2 to 3 times per hour). All in all, a Dassia villa holiday is an ideal choice for families and couples.
