Villa Irida is an imposing property standing high above the northern coastal road, with views extending over the quiet sandy beach of Kalamaki below to the mountains of Albania in the distance. Irida offers many sea-facing terraces, including a large shaded dining terrace with barbecue and a lawned area at the front of the house. Irida is ideal for large parties of all ages. Families with young children will appreciate the gated pool and gated outdoor steps, children’s pool and play area offering swings, slide and see-saw, as well as Kalamaki Beach underneath with gently shelving shallow water ideal for small ones. Teenagers will like the separate studio bedrooms and nightlife of nearby Kassiopi giving them a bit of independence. The pool area also offers a shaded area with table tennis, and poolside WC. A new shaded seating area above the barbecue area with lovely panoramic views, houses a billiard table.

Set on Corfu’s north-east coast, Kassiopi has everything you need for a villa holiday. With all the charm of a former fishing village, this harbour resort is a hive of activity. Fishermen unload their catch and you can spot boats of all shapes and sizes. Café bars, restaurants, shops, bakeries and a couple of discos nestle side by side. From here, you can walk or sail to a choice of small pebble beaches. There’s also a little taste of history, with the ruins of a fortress to stroll around.
